What you need to know about the Aruba ED Card

  • The Aruba ED card must be filled in at least 7 days before arrival in Aruba by all travelers. It DOES NOT replace a visa.
  • Upon arrival to Aruba, the respective authorities have the prerogative to interview you in order to determine if you are freely admissible to Aruba under the Immigration laws.
  • It is highly recommended that you keep your ED Card Number and the associated QR Code with you either as a soft copy (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or as a hard copy.

Aruba ED Card: How to apply

iVisa has designed a simple 3-step process for you to obtain your travel document in just a few minutes. The steps are as follows:

Step 1: First, you must complete the questionnaire with all your basic data, such as your full name, passport, destination, origin, and travel date. Then, you must select the processing time.
Step 2: Next, it is crucial that you check that all your information is entered correctly. Once everything is validated, pay for the service according to the selected processing time.
Step 3: Finally, scan the necessary documents and click on the "submit" button.
You will receive a confirmation email once you finish the process. If you do not find it, check your SPAM folder.

Travelers should remember that this document must be presented to border officials, so it is convenient to have the documents saved on your cell phone or printed in case you do not have internet access when you arrive at your destination.
